How to make the clamp fit

The locking ridges on the clamp can be removed easily to fit your rod with a 1 in belt sander, a file, or Dremel tool. Just grind it down at 45 degree angle, this mod should enable the clamp mount any rod to 1.25 inhes.

This modification will not stress the clamp, we have 3 times the surface area and plenty of a support for strength. Please see examples below.
